Dr. Lim teaches the history of Christianity at Vanderbilt and is an award-winning historian. His last book was Mystery Unveiled: The Crisis of the Trinity in Early Modern England (Oxford, 2012). He is currently working on a book on how belief in Jesus’ identity as (Son of) God came under attack, prefiguring modernity’s re-purposing of Jesus as a great man, but not God. He also serves as Scholar-in-Residence at Christ Presbyterian Church, and as Senior Advisor for the Nashville Institute for Faith & Work.
