Is Sing! Global 2021 taking place both in Nashville and online?
Yes! We are excited to announce that the conference will be happening in person at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville from September 13-15, 2021. (Stay tuned for information about possible pre-conferences on September 12.) We will also hold a fully immersive virtual event, allowing you to choose your experience. All registrants will be able to view content on-demand after the conference ends.
How do I know if my ticket is for the in-person conference or for the virtual event?
All tickets include full access to the virtual event. In addition, you may attend the in-person event if:
- You purchased a Viewing Pass before April 19, 2021 AND have claimed your seating upgrade through the link sent to you by email. OR,
- You requested a pandemic-related transfer of your 2020 ticket to the 2021 event AND have claimed your seating upgrade through the link sent to you by email. OR,
- You purchased a Bridgestone Individual, Bridgestone Group, Bridgestone Student, or Bridgestone International ticket (available beginning April 19, 2021) that includes a seat to the in-person event.
If you are still unsure whether you have in-person seating or believe you are entitled to an update but did not receive an email, please contact events@singglobal.com with your Eventbrite ticket number and the email address associated with that purchase, and we will be happy to help!
When do I need to decide if I will attend in person?
If you wish to attend in person, know that there will be limited seating; we recommend that you decide as soon as possible as we cannot guarantee ticket availability. Holding a virtual viewing Pass purchased before April 19 or a transfer ticket from 2020 does not guarantee you a seat at the in-person event; you must take action as described in the email you received to claim your seating upgrade. In-person tickets will be made available to the general public on April 22.
I purchased a ticket but can’t find it. What should I do?
There are a couple of ways to check this:
Go to your Sing Global account www.singglobal.com/account – this will show you all the purchases you have made relevant to Sing Global 2021.
Your ticket was purchased using Eventbrite, so you should have received an email confirming the purchase at time of purchase, or you can check in your Eventbrite account (www.eventbrite.com). Be sure to log into Eventbrite with the same email address you would have used to purchase the ticket.
If you are still having difficult locating your ticket, please email events@singglobal.com for assistance.
What are the health and safety plans for the event?
The state of Tennessee and Davidson County (the city of Nashville) have recently lifted all social distancing and mask requirements. Due to these positive developments, our venue is presently not requiring attendees to wear masks. We will continue to monitor the situation regarding Covid-19 closely in coordination with local officials and the staff of Bridgestone Arena.
Of course, we also welcome those who will choose to wear a mask, and we will continue to explore ways to prioritize the health and safety of all who attend. We thank each of you in advance for your flexibility and understanding.
Are you requiring masks/social distancing/vaccines for in-person attendees?
As we are still many months away from the conference dates, we are not yet able to say definitively what will or will not be required for our event in terms of health and safety regulations. We will fully comply with all requirements at the time of our event for the safety of all attendees. By claiming your in-person seating upgrade or purchasing a ticket to the in-person event, you are agreeing to abide by all health guidelines at the time of the event.
Where is the Bridgestone Arena?
The Bridgestone is located in downtown Nashville, TN at 501 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203. It is within walking distance of many restaurants, hotels, and tourist attractions. If you stay in the area, the only reason you would need a car is to get to and from the airport – it is otherwise a very walkable area. If flying, we recommend that you consider using Uber or other ride-sharing services instead of renting a car, as parking spaces downtown are limited and require paid fees.
If I am attending the in-person event, where should I stay?
We have a number of hotels holding blocks of rooms for our Conference at a reduced rate. We will be posting that information soon at www.gettymusicworshipconference.com/travel. There are also many vacation home rentals in the Nashville area that you may choose to explore.
Where can I park?
There are many paid parking options in and around the Bridgestone, as described here: https://www.bridgestonearena.com/plan-your-visit/directions-parking
Are there restaurants within walking distance?
There will be concessions available inside the Bridgestone Arena during the conference, and there are hundreds of delicious restaurants of all price points and styles within blocks of the venue.
What is the event schedule?
We plan for the conference to begin midday on Monday, September 13. The in-person event will conclude on Wednesday, September 15 at 1:00pm Central Time. Specific scheduling details will be announced soon — keep checking www.gettymusicworshipconference.com for the most up-to-date information, including pre-conference events offered on Sunday, September 12.
Will the schedule be the same for the in-person and virtual events?
More details regarding specific programming schedules will be available as we get closer to the conference dates.
How will I register for breakout sessions?
You will receive an email when breakout sessions are announced along with instructions for attending or viewing them.
Will there be any concerts in the evenings?
Yes, we are excited about a number of high-energy and engaging concerts that will be offered in the evenings, both in downtown Nashville and online. Keep checking www.gettymusicworshipconference.com for the most up-to-date schedule information, and watch your email for any updates as well.
